The old one from the 2014 has a prominent oud background and I can smell it clearly on my skin. Surprisingly - I like the NEW version more. I prefer the pure blend of leather and civet. Leather Oud has a fierce opening, that much is sure. But once dominance is asserted, the violence settles down and a glorious scent emerges. It features a full-bodied amber and a shimmering oud note.
